Latest update:

These tools handle the planning side of buying: setting a spending target, comparing value, and pricing services before you commit. Start with the grocery budget calculator to set a weekly or monthly food target from household size and eating habits, then use the price per unit calculator to compare packages by ounce, sheet, or serving. When a service is on the table, the cleaning cost calculator estimates what professional cleaning should run, and the gift budget calculator splits holiday spending across recipients while tracking the total. Frequently asked questions

What does the diaper calculator estimate?
It estimates daily diaper usage, monthly diaper usage, total diapers needed until the expected potty training age, monthly cost, total cost, unit price, months remaining, and an approximate size breakdown. It supports disposable diapers and cloth diapers, with different price assumptions for premium, standard, and economy categories.
How does disposable diaper cost work?
For disposable diapers, the calculator multiplies daily diapers by 30.44 days per month, then by months remaining, then by the selected unit price. Premium, standard, and economy categories each have a base price and a subscription price. The size breakdown uses the same monthly usage for each age range.
How does cloth diaper cost work?
For cloth diapers, the calculator does not multiply by every diaper change through potty training. Instead, it recommends a reusable quantity equal to daily diapers times 2.5, rounded up, and multiplies that quantity by the selected cloth unit price. Monthly cost spreads that one-time total across remaining months.
