What each calculator does
The Home Cleaning Supply Calculator works session by session. Monthly mL is cleaning sessions times (rooms × mL per room plus bathrooms × mL per bathroom). All consumption values are inputs you supply — for example, four rooms at 30 mL plus two bathrooms at 50 mL repeated four times is 880 mL, or 0.88 L per month. Cost converts the total to litres and multiplies by the price per litre you enter; at $10 per litre that example costs $8.80. The page is explicit that it prescribes nothing: it totals measured use and price, and product labels govern efficacy and safety.
The Household Supply Usage Calculator is unit-based and works per supply category. Adjusted daily usage is the entered usage rate times the square root of household size times a seasonal multiplier (1.0 constant, 1.3 summer or winter high, 1.2 highly variable). Days until resupply is current quantity divided by adjusted daily usage, rounded down. Monthly usage is adjusted daily usage times 30, rounded up. Recommended purchase is the smaller of monthly need and empty storage capacity, and it becomes zero when current stock already fills storage.
