About OverCalculator
OverCalculator is an online calculator utility and reference product. It provides interactive tools for everyday mathematics, finance, health, conversion, education, and other practical subjects. It is not a blog, professional practice, or substitute for advice tailored to an individual situation.
Purpose and audience
OverCalculator was developed to put the calculation, the assumptions behind it, and a useful explanation in one place. The catalog has grown from common calculations into a broader reference library. It is intended for anyone who needs to estimate a value, compare scenarios, convert units, or understand how a result is obtained—including students, households, and people using calculations at work.
Tools are free to use and do not require an account. Results are informational estimates. A calculator cannot know every fact that may matter to a medical, financial, tax, legal, safety, or other consequential decision.
How the tools are produced
OverCalculator publishes and maintains the tools as an organization. A calculator combines an interactive implementation with its inputs, units, validation, formula explanation, assumptions, examples, limitations, and relevant sources. Automation, including AI-assisted tools, may help with research, drafting, repetitive implementation, and checks; it does not establish that a result is correct. The organization remains responsible for what is published.

Funding and independence
OverCalculator is currently made available without subscriptions, accounts, or paywalls. It is supported by publisher resources and may be funded in part through clearly labeled advertising. Advertising partners do not choose calculator formulas, sources, results, corrections, or which conclusions a tool displays. An advertisement is not an endorsement, and commercial considerations do not change a calculator's output.
