Terms of Use
These terms apply when you access or use the OverCalculator website, calculators, reference material, and provided embeds. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Informational utility
OverCalculator provides general-purpose calculations, explanations, and estimates. Results depend on the values entered, the stated assumptions, rounding, data freshness, and the selected method. They may contain errors or may not fit your circumstances or jurisdiction.
The service does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment or financial, investment, tax, legal, engineering, or other professional advice. Verify consequential results with original records and the relevant institution, authority, or qualified professional before acting.
Permitted use
You may access and use the public tools for personal, educational, and lawful business purposes. You may not interfere with the service, bypass access or security measures, introduce malicious code, use the service unlawfully, misrepresent an output or OverCalculator's relationship to you, or use automated traffic in a way that degrades availability.
Formulas, facts, and public-domain source material remain subject to their own legal status. OverCalculator's original software, interface, branding, and explanatory material are protected to the extent applicable. These terms do not transfer ownership or permit copying, republishing, rebranding, or selling the service or its original material as your own.
Calculator embeds
Where a calculator page provides iframe embed code, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive permission to place that unmodified embed on a website you control, including a commercial website. The calculator must continue to load from OverCalculator. Do not obscure its controls, alter its output, remove branding or notices that appear in the embed, frame it deceptively, imply endorsement, or use it on an unlawful or harmful service.
An embed is a remote service, not a copy or permanent license. Its appearance, URL, functionality, or availability may change, and permission may be withdrawn to protect the product, users, or rights holders. Your site remains responsible for its own disclosures, consent choices, security, and compliance.
Advertising and external services
The service may display labeled advertising and may link to or rely on third-party services. Advertising is not an endorsement. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices, and OverCalculator is not responsible for content or services it does not control.
Availability and changes
OverCalculator may add, change, correct, restrict, redirect, or discontinue tools and embeds. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, failures, security events, or provider changes. There is no promise that a particular calculator, result history, or embed will remain available.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. OverCalculator does not guarantee that every formula, source, result, or explanation is error-free or current.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, OverCalculator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, data, opportunities, or decisions arising from use of or inability to use the service. Rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be revised to reflect product, provider, or legal changes. The date below records the latest material revision. Continued use after revised terms are posted means the revised terms apply to later use.
