This calculator uses 1,024-based storage steps:

$1\ KB = 1,024\ B$

$1\ MB = 1,024\ KB$

$1\ GB = 1,024\ MB$

$1\ TB = 1,024\ GB$

For example, 1 GB equals 1,024 MB. In bytes, that is 1,024 × 1,024 × 1,024 = 1,073,741,824 B. A 64 GB card therefore equals 65,536 MB in this converter.
