- How is electricity intensity calculated?
- Each intensity is annual kWh divided by conditioned floor area in square feet. For example, 12,000 kWh over 1,500 ft² is 8.00 kWh per square foot per year.
- What does the percentage difference mean?
- It is the arithmetic difference between the two entered scenarios: (billed kWh − scenario kWh) ÷ billed kWh × 100. Equal use gives 0.0%, and a higher comparison use gives a negative difference. It is not a promised saving.
- Is this an ENERGY STAR score?
- No. The result is not an ENERGY STAR score, efficiency diagnosis, audit, forecast, or promised saving. It only compares the billed scenario with an alternative scenario you enter.
