When to use which

Use the e-waste impact calculator when you have a device count and a documented per-device dataset factor you can pin to a specific row and boundary.
Both tools reward discipline in definitions: describe the item or device precisely, record the source and version of every measured mass or factor, and rerun documented low and high values to build a sensitivity range rather than treating a single result as a confidence interval.
