Each selected protein starts at 4 ounces per guest, is adjusted by the appetite multiplier (0.75 for light, 1 for moderate, 1.5 for hungry), and is divided evenly across the proteins switched on. Toppings and sides use their own per-guest amounts, and the cost line is guests times 10 dollars times the appetite multiplier. Its worked example: 24 guests, moderate appetite, both tortilla types, three proteins — 72 tacos, 87 tortillas (44 corn and 44 flour), 32 ounces per protein.

When to use which
Use the pizza calculator when the menu is set and the question is quantity or value: which pie is a better deal per square inch, or how many pizzas to order for a group.
