Ares to Cents Converter

This calculator defines one land cent as one hundredth of an international acre. It makes no claim about regional records or legal usage; confirm the unit definition in the document you are working from.

One are is 100 m². From 1 acre = 43,560 ft² and 1 ft = exactly 0.3048 m:

$1\text{ cent}=\frac{43{,}560\times0.3048^2}{100}=40.468564224\text{ m}^2$

The converter changes the input to square meters and divides by the target factor. Ten ares therefore equal 1,000 ÷ 40.468564224 = 24.710538… cents.

Only nonnegative finite values and listed units are accepted. A local instrument or record may use a different name or definition, so treat its stated definition as controlling.
